When I first came across this book I was automatically drawn to it not by the cover but by the blurb, I am usually drawn to books that deal with the different gods and goddesses in mythology. And this having to do with Artemis really peaked my interest. However I found that within the book there was not much to find about Artemis but it did focus a great deal on Lila. I really feel for Lila as she is thrown into a new town having to make new friends, but the other kids are not all that they seem. They have secrets that Lila could never imagine possible.
As love blooms in the most unlikely place Lila find herself finding out more about herself, the truth about who she is and will become, and the truth behind what her true destiny holds.
I think that anyone looking for a new read would find this book quite a catch, it may not have a lot of back story to Artemis as I would have liked but regardless the plot around Lila is so intriguing you find yourself wrapped up in the story that you finish the book in just a day or so.
