Authors: S.E. Hall and Hilary Storm

Synopsis:

From USA Today Bestselling Authors S.E. Hall and Hilary Storm comes the cockiest quarterback in Tennessee in this steamy standalone sports romance.

Rush Riggins has it all. His sexy arrogance, perfectly honed body and irresistible charisma is everything you’d expect in a single, NFL quarterback. What woman wouldn’t love to be pursued by him?

Ava Vanderbilt, that’s who.

She’s made it very clear that his relentless flirtation won’t change her mind. It’s her only rule. She can’t date a football player.

But Rush didn’t get where he is in life by giving up… he’s a very persistent man… and the end-zone isn’t the only line he plans to cross.

Review:

I’ve read several works by S.E. Hall and have loved everything I’ve read by her. Quarterback Sack is another amazing novel and does not disappoint! Although I have never read anything by Hilary Storm after reading this, I will be checking out her other books.

After hooking up for a one night stand, Ava thought that would be the last she ever saw of Rush. If she’d have known he was a football player, she might have avoided his charm. Ava and Rush have such a strong attraction to one another but she doesn’t want to deal with the bad publicity that their relationship would bring. I loved this game of cat and mouse that they both played throughout the story. Ava’s heart and mind are at a constant tug of war. At times Ava’s reluctance to exposing her and Rush’s relationship was a bit frustrating. She was always making excuses why they couldn’t be a couple and why things wouldn’t work out. All the while, I’m cheering them on.

This book really drew me in and if reality didn’t rudely interrupt, I could have finished this in one sitting. It was very well written, keeping the readers attention throughout the entire story. You’ll find yourself going through a range of emotions from irritation to elation at the character’s actions and thoughts. You don’t need to like football to love Quarterback Sack!
